Job Description

We are seeking a Cyber Security Intern to join our dynamic team. This role will involve working closely with our IT and security teams to help safeguard our data collection processes and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Support the maintenance and updating of security systems and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security awareness and practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security Intern, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and encryption.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills

• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
• Understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Experience with cybersecurity tools (e.g., Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus).
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
