The dataset was collected from a publicly accessible webcam for crowd counting and profiling research.

The dataset and description are from https://personal.ie.cuhk.edu.hk/~ccloy/downloads_mall_dataset.html.
This mall dataset was gathered from a webcam publicly available for studying crowd counting and profiling.
Ground truth: More than 60,000 people were marked in 2000 video frames. We meticulously labeled the head position of each person in every frame.
Video length: 2000 frames
Frame size: 640×480
Frame rate: < 2 Hz
The dataset is meant only for research purposes and cannot be used for commercial activities.
